Checkpoint on our Portfolio let's see how we are doing? ~ Did William beat the street?

So how well did we do in our first year?

Lets look at our Portfolio starting with Dividend Stocks

WRE 9/23/2017 $32.60  /  9/25/2018  $31.26    Gain $1.20 Dividend per share
IRET 9/23/2017 $5.81  /  9/25/2018  $5.49    Gain $.28 Dividend per share
EES 6/6/2018 $39.20  /  9/25/2018  $40.73    Gain $.18 Dividend per share
Again pretty flat but we are buyig for the dividend not the share price.

Stocks with dividend & regular:

NVDA 9/23/2017 $179.00  /  9/25/2018  $272.22  Gain $0.60 Dividend per share Up 65%

BABA 11/12/2017 $186.44  /  9/25/2018  $174.23  Down 9.3%

RMD 1/29/2018 $103.50  /  9/25/2018  $108.90  Gain $0.70 Dividend per share Up 9.4%

AMZN 4/17/2018 $11,405.32  /  9/25/2018  $1905.39 Up 73.7%

ALSN 6/6/2018 $41.89  /  9/25/2018  $49.11 Up 8.5%

TROW 5/19/2018 $120.59  /  9/25/2018  $115.41  Down 9.5%

IQ 7/7/2018 $29.62  /  9/25/2018  $28.78  Down 1%

So we invested a total of:

$2,065.91  (w dividend share bought  add 77.01) = $$2,142.92

We are currently at:

2,654.04 (w dividend share add 77.48) + ($2.26 dividends) = $2733.78*

*Figure slightly lower, cause not all dividends have paid on yearly basis so could be slightly higher)

We finished at 8% return (DJIA = 8.6% return YTD) we finished in line with the market currently, but let me show you how we are doing better. All will start to out perform the market as a whole.

Our recent picks TROW & IQ have not had the time value of money to grow as of yet but I have faith, since IQ is the Netflix of China and Netflix itself just showed an incredible return on Friday.  IQ has a 5 times the ratio too increase in value.  BABA while down just turned a 61% profit for the quarter and not sure why investors are not responding too it but they are diversifying just like Amazon is so they should pull through.

I don't want to give you the answer as to which stock performed the best and why; I want you to tell me.  There are 3 #1 picks I can see.  One of those dividend stocks I would be buying like cray.  Leave comments below.

We didn't beat the street but at 8% but we are performing better than a lot of 401K mutual funds go compare. Our return is still better than an CD at any bank at this time.

Well I apologize, it has been awhile since I have written an article and checked in with the portfolio but I have been watching our stocks and must say we have been doing quite well!  The overall portfolio has increased by 25%.  Lets do a run down of where we were at last time on May 10, 2020 and the two stocks we added to the portfolio since then AYRO on 6/17/2020 and ORBN on 8/8/2020. Just Another Boring Bank Stock? ~ Not Oregon Bancorp

I just happened too be browsing around looking for something; I can't remember what when I saw this little gem of  stock Oregon Bancorp (ORBN) now as we speak for $33.00 a share.  So I want to add it to our mock portfolio. It has so many things going for it which makes it a perfect little add.  First off it is a banking stock which we don't have.  Yes there is T.Rowe Price which is more of a brokerage financial institution, while Oregon Bancorp is a bank.  Selling at $33.00 a share it is easily affordable for you, me and the average investor to buy.  Oregon Bancorp is listed on the Over the Counter Pink Sheets.  In the old days on the New York stock exchange these shares did not sell all that often and were listed on actual pink sheets of paper that's why they are still called "Pink Sheets"    Oregon Bancorp just had a blowout quarter with their financials it seems the company is really doing things right.  I looked over several charts by them first looking at
