Happy 3rd Anniversary William's Wall Street .Com! ~ Mock Portfolio at 86.7% Return on Investment For The Year!

So here we are again another year completed for Williamswallstreet.com and what a year it has been the Dow Jones at $29,000 at the beginning of the year and taking a huge loss due to the Covid 19 Pandemic dropping as low as to 19,000 and some change. We rode through the market ups and downs and by maintaining a level head were able to see a 86.7% return on our investment. While some of the stocks like Alison Engines, Norwegian Cruise Lines and Washington Real Estate Investment Trust have suffered. The stellar players like Nividia, Amazon and Tesla have really made this portfolio shine.William we have to admit you are doing a great job.Thank you Nancy Haloprin from Charlotte, North Carolina.Let's take a look at our Mock Portfolio:Stock     12/31/2019    8/21/2020Alibaba (BABA)                        $212.25                          $266.58Alison Engines (ALSN)   $48.32                              $35.68Amazon (AMZN)  $1,800.00                        $3282.50AYRO (AYRO)   $2.69 $3…

Just Another Boring Bank Stock? ~ Not Oregon Bancorp

I just happened too be browsing around looking for something; I can't remember what when I saw this little gem of  stock Oregon Bancorp (ORBN) now as we speak for $33.00 a share.  So I want to add it to our mock portfolio. It has so many things going for it which makes it a perfect little add.  First off it is a banking stock which we don't have.  Yes there is T.Rowe Price which is more of a brokerage financial institution, while Oregon Bancorp is a bank.  Selling at $33.00 a share it is easily affordable for you, me and the average investor to buy.  Oregon Bancorp is listed on the Over the Counter Pink Sheets.  In the old days on the New York stock exchange these shares did not sell all that often and were listed on actual pink sheets of paper that's why they are still called "Pink Sheets"   Oregon Bancorp just had a blowout quarter with their financials it seems the company is really doing things right.  I looked over several charts by them first looking at th…

Speculation Picks ~ AYRO ~ Mock Portfolio Add

The next company we are going to add to the mock portfolio is AYRO which is selling at $2.69 a share as we speak today 6/17/2020  it has taken a hard hit as of late and a extreme drop in June.  I speculate as a result of the Corona Virus because they make electric vehicles for college campuses and golf courses. The real pricing of this stock although it has been as high as over eight dollars a share is around the five dollar range. So that is why we are going to add it to our mock portfolio as a direct speculation that the stock will move from $2.69 to $5.00 if it does; we are going to sell it back out of the portfolio. This is probably one of the riskiest stocks we have ever chosen because there is no real news on the stock.
I found the stock because NIO a Chinese electric car company has been in the top movers lately for getting an additional round of funding and ever since NIO first came out it has been a stock I watched.  I have even traded options on this stock (NIO) …

Homeless and Living with Covid 19 ~ My Personal Story

So I was diagnosed with Corona Virus on May 25th, 2020 at Martin Luther King Hospital in South Central Los Angeles. I arrived at the emergency room at 8:00am in the morning, after being triaged they suspected myself and two other gentlemen from the sober living recovery home where I was staying did indeed have the virus. So while we waited for the results which would take two hours I was scared my worst nightmare would come true I would have it, be homeless again and tossed out into the street.
The two hours was an excruciating long time I was petrified, scared and facing the overall fact this may be it I might die. Then I remembered I have been through this before.  The first time I went in for my AIDS test back in 1986 after having been all over Europe and with many a man, I was back in my hometown in Waukesha Wisconsin and was the first ever patient at Waukesha Memorial Hospital to have the AIDS test administered. The girl in the laboratory was my friend from high school…

Hold ~ DO NOT SELL! ~ DO NOT BUY ~ Here is Some Eye Candy

This is the shortest Williamswallstreet.com article ever. Do not sell any of your portfolio unless you need it to buy toilet paper. Do not buy until the market calms down. Looking at refinancing your house probably the best option. In the mean time enjoy this eye candy I found on Venice Beach California.

Hold Tight! ~ Do not sell ~ Do not buy!

Hold Tight let the marker stabilize do not sell. Do not worry about your 401K as a matter of fact max it out right now.  This is due to shear supply and demand for oil. Dow is down -1800 points this is why we invest for long periods of time not day to day.
